I got a call from Christina in Dallas, PA who said she was looking to give her kids room a new makeover. She was looking for bold colors on the walls and floors, and window treatments that would keep the light out at night, but could be rotating to let light in throughout the day. But before we could settle on a blind color, we needed to figure out what color was going on the walls and floors. For the walls it was decided that we would use Sherman Williams in yellow and bold red accent walls. Next came the flooring. Christina selected Mohawk® StainMaster™ Carpet in burgundy. Perfect for young active kids. That allowed us to now select the blind color. Not wanting to go with white, we elected to go with a soft yellow that when closed gave off a warm glow to the room and when tilted the light reflected off the vanes.

When the project was completed Christina and her boys could not be happier. The boy’s love having their friends over to play and Christina likes that the room is safe for her kids.
