Hunter Douglas Window Treatment Innovations
New from Hunter Douglas this summer are Designer Banded Shades, which offer an extremely flexible option at the window. Featuring alternating sheer fabric with bands of solid fabric, these shades are the perfect solution for view-through, light control, and privacy. You can open or close the shade while it’s the raised or lowered position. This option is not available with wood or faux wood blinds, and you can’t do this with a cellular shade.
Designer Banded Shade Fabric
Designed with a square fabric-wrapped cassette, the Designer Banded Shade looks like a shade with two layers of fabric. The fabric collection for the Designer Banded Shades includes an array of solids, textures, and beautiful colors. All of the fabrics come in light-filtering and room-darkening opacities, so they’re perfect for any room in your home.
Window Treatment Operation
The designer Banded Shade comes standard with a custom clutch lifting system that provides shade-to-shade lift uniformity. You can also choose the UltraGlide® system, which features a retractable cord. Or you could choose the new SoftTouch™ Motorization system. Designed with a simple wand to control shade operation, this operating system allows you to gently pull down to close the shades and push up to open them. With no exposed cords, both the UltraGlide® and SoftTouch™ Motorization systems provide superior pet and child safety.
